Floor plans detect walls, place APs and suggest channels. Still unlicensed.
Controller update. Read the notes before lifting a production site.
Cameras and recording on the same console as the network.
Several gateway CVEs. Fix is UniFi OS 5.1.31 or later.
Travel router. Uncommon on a site; listed in case a client asks.
Short answers. A real quote comes from the site, not from this list.
Not on UniFi. You buy the hardware. The controller is not rented. Cisco Meraki and Fortinet charge a fee; if payment stops, the kit stops operating as a managed network.
An open floor often needs two or three. Partitions, two storeys or heavy Wi‑Fi calling raise the count. The reliable figure comes from the plan, not a rule of thumb.
Yes. UniFi Design Center is free. When you have the link or the list, send it to proyectos@ and we install and operate it.
They can coexist for a while. Running two controllers forever is rarely the plan. Instant On covers Wi‑Fi and switching; it does not bring an SD‑WAN gateway, cameras or doors in the same panel.
No. Protect is on the same console as Wi‑Fi. An event, the recording and who was associated are reviewed together.
Access lives on that console. Offboarding revokes Wi‑Fi, VPN and the reader together. Time attendance can sit on the same access path.
We supply and install UniFi equipment we have already deployed. The wholesale order is separate from maintenance.
Remote supervision, alerts and configuration changes. It does not include building works or spare parts that were not agreed.
UniFi integrates Wi‑Fi, switching, the perimeter and site interconnection in a single operations console.
Capital is spent on hardware; the controller is not a subscription. Gateway SD‑WAN interconnects links and sites with no per-site fee.
Video surveillance sits on the same management plane as the radio. The incident, the recording and the wireless client in that zone are reviewed without a third-party recorder or console.
Physical access is administered in that console. Offboarding revokes wireless access, VPN and the door reader together; the video record for that opening remains attached to the same event.
Protect sensors — leak, opening, occupancy — at ranges of up to approximately two kilometres. Signalling arrives on the network supervision panel, without a separate sensor platform.
Access points, PoE, site-to-site VPN, guest networks and topology are supervised under a single operator identity, including video and door control.
Cisco and Fortinet do not include video surveillance or door control in the same system as the LAN: those are separate product families.
The commercial model is a monthly or annual licence. Non-payment interrupts operation as a managed network; on Meraki, forwarding. Five-year accumulated cost is several times that of UniFi.
On wireless and access security, UniFi implements the set required of a professional site: WPA3 and WPA3‑Enterprise, 802.1X with RADIUS, VLAN segmentation, access-control lists, site-to-site VPN and Entra ID.
On those standards it stands with subscription platforms. On unifying network, video and access under one policy, the scope is broader.
A next-generation firewall with contracted threat intelligence retains greater IPS depth; UniFi does not replace that layer when the project requires it.
Aruba Instant On provides competent Wi‑Fi and switching and does not levy a network licence. It does not include an SD‑WAN gateway, video surveillance, door control or long-range sensors.
Completing the scope requires ClearPass or another vendor. A deployment limited to Instant On does not cover the functions UniFi already operates in the same interface.
Index 100 = UniFi. Typical site of about 30 seats. Hardware and vendor licences over five years. Excludes works and operations. Indicative figures. September 2026.
Also AI development, Microsoft 365 and building automation.
Design, deployment and operations. From first site to a working business.
With Entra ID and UniFi, the same Microsoft 365 account controls Wi‑Fi, VPN, site doors and staff time-and-attendance. It is administered from a single console.
Planning, deployment and remote operations. Continuous monitoring to anticipate incidents and protect availability.
Entra ID joined to UniFi. One account for Wi‑Fi, VPN, doors and time attendance.
Bespoke AI solutions. From prototype to day-to-day use in the office.
Provisioning of the UniFi hardware we install and maintain. Only equipment validated in our own deployments.
Design, deployment and remote operations.
From a single smart switch to multi-site enterprise networks. All UniFied in one interface.
We take it live: supply, installation and operations.
Layout, coverage and hardware in the Design Center. See how.
Copy the design link, or the bill of materials, and write to us.
Quotation, supply, installation and ongoing operations.
We operate what we design and install: UniFi networks, Microsoft 365 and AI solutions.
One network platform, one directory and the software that binds them. Not diluted across PBX, AWS or a dozen hardware brands.
Deployment, remote monitoring and maintenance. The same standard from the drawing to day-to-day support.
UniFi equipment we install and maintain. If it does not belong in the design, it is not offered.
